Louise is particularly skilled at bringing the damaged chair seats back to a neat condition. Using the traditional methods. Returning the chairs to the owners, making them usable again. Louise learnt everything she needed to start her business in weaving at West Dean College.

How would you go about weaving this basket?

“Oh, that specific basket, would be to weave to particular dimensions, tall and tapering at the base. Not thinking to trim as I built the basket higher and higher. After making the border, the next step is to cut off all rough ends, which were inside.”
