In the first of a regular feature, we will talk about some of our many fantastically talented clients, what they do and what motivates them.
It’s our pleasure then to introduce Leanne Nuttall of Bloomin’ Sweet Delights. (We had many responses to our recent email asking our customers if they’s like to share their stories with you, and Leanne was the first to submit her photos to us).
Bloomin’ Sweet Treats create handcrafted gifts containing confectionery including bouquets, filled mason jars/glasses & sweet trees. The idea was started in January 2016 and officially became a business in March this year.
We asked Leanne what she loves about what she does: “Creating things is a pleasure, craft has always been a passion. Being able to custom design and create unique different gifts for customers is so rewarding, especially when it gets a positive reaction which leaves a lasting impression. It’s a delightful way to make an income.”
It can be a daunting adventure turning an idea in to a viable business. It’s not just about making a product and selling them, it’s also about ensuring you have all the necessary financial, legal, moral and ethical factors sorted out. From finding the right insurance cover, to adhering to legislation in the food industry and providing the customer the correct information about their product & purchase.”
